Biography
Dr. Hussein graduated from faculty of medicine , Alexandria University in 1991, performed Physical medicine and Rehabilitation residency 1993-1996, got faculty appointment at Alexandria university. 1997.Then came to the United states in 1999 to perform doctoral degree at Albert Einstein college of medicine. Dr. Hussein then did one year residency of internal medicine at Mount Saini in 2000, then performed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center.2001-2003. Dr. Hussein then went back to Egypt and became Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Alexandria University and obtain this as a permanent title. Dr. Hussein returned back to USA 2015 and become triple board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain medicine and Electrodiagnostic medicine. Currently Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert ÙEinstein/Montefiore. Also has private pain management office in the Bronx.
Research Interest
clinical research , starting since master thesis 1994-1997, continued till current. Her areas of research experience; Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Electrodiagnositic medicine, pain medicine & cardiac rehabilitation.
